‘GIRLS SURF TOO’ SCOOP ONE-PIECE SWIMSUIT
I have always loved Zoe Karssen’s swimwear pieces because of the perfect combination of luxury, boldness and minimalism. The laid-back and unapologetic edgy style is what makes this Amsterdam-based label so effortlessly cool.
The ‘Girls Surf Too’ scoop one-piece suit is the perfect cool girl statement piece for wearing poolside or on a beach day.

What I ordered: Size S, which measures 64cm in length, 70cm bust, and a 56cm waist.
The sporty one-piece in navy, contrasted with the white colour block and bold “Girls Surf Too” print across the front gives that classic red, white and blue look with an element of sass.
The statement ‘Girls Surf Too’ resonated with me as I was brought up surfing and was often the only female paddling out the back.
The scoop front is mirrored at the back, with a much lower scoop leading down to the arch of my lower back.
This cut coupled with the colour flatters the frame and gives a feminine look whilst still keeping it simple.
The high cut leg sits above my hip bones and exposes that area of my upper leg that is not often on display in a normal ‘brief’ cut bikini bottom.
The cheeky cut around the backside shows the perfect amount of cheek, whilst still being the right amount of coverage.
The suit is true to size and has moderate coverage. I am generally happy with the cut of this piece.
Firstly, the swimsuit easy to get on and feels snug around my body. I am not overly curvy, so I was apprehensive about putting this piece on, however, I felt that the suit was sculpting and flattering on my frame.
Although there is no built-in bra, I feel like there is a level of support, most likely because the scoop neck is not too low.
I am also not worried about that chance of the straps coming off when I drop my shoulders or am splashing around in a pool or the surf.
The cool Polyamide fabric feels light on my body and suit is lined with elastane, which is comforting, knowing that the white colour will not go see through as soon as it gets wet.
Wear it With
If worn poolside, I would couple this suit with a pair of sunglasses and some white strappy sandals or wedges (and some red lippy if you’re at a plush beach club).
If worn on the beach, a loose fitted, light white shirt worn open to display the print at the front.
